Koray’s professional background combines private practice, in-house roles, and institutional exposure. He worked as a legal counsel of the Turkish Exporters Assembly (Türkiye İhracatçılar Meclisi – TİM), where he developed a strong network across Turkish export-oriented industries and gained in-depth insight into government support and incentive regimes relevant to international trade and investment.
He subsequently held legal roles with METRO AG, where his work focused intensively on procurement contracts and commercial frameworks within a multinational corporate environment. Notably, He also worked as a legal counsel in Berlin in Delivery Hero SE, a DAX-listed global technology company active in over 70 countries. In this capacity, he worked with stakeholders across multiple jurisdictions on complex commercial arrangements, including large-scale marketing agreements, supply-chain and logistics contracts, real-estate matters, and arbitration proceedings, gaining hands-on experience in managing high-value, multi-country legal risk.
Earlier in his career, Koray also worked as a lawyer at a London-based law firm, where he was involved in financial transactions and cross-border commercial matters. Combined with his substantial experience in arbitration and complex contract negotiations, this background enables him to support both Turkish and German companies in navigating sophisticated cross-border relationships and disputes. His practice is characterized by a pragmatic, commercially driven approach, delivering integrated legal and strategic support to clients operating across multiple markets and regulatory environments.
