Jens Marchand has been working in corporate law for over 20 years, with interfaces to tax law and insolvency law, and advises companies from a wide range of industries, their (founding) shareholders, management bodies and financiers from the start-up phase through financing rounds, all the way to exit (M&A). His work is characterised by the development of viable legal solutions, their clear and comprehensible communication and close support for entrepreneurial decision-making processes.
His practice focuses on corporate and contract law advice, in particular the support of M&A processes (transaction advisory, strategic and internal shareholding and investment structures, joint ventures, venture capital), restructuring (e.g. holding structures) and corporate financing. In corporate crises and restructuring phases, he provides support with practical legal concepts through to turnaround. He also supports tax advisors and restructuring consultants in matters relating to contract law, professional law and remuneration law.
His advisory approach is characterised by many years of experience in multidisciplinary teams and a deep understanding of business management. He works effectively and collaboratively with the clients' tax advisors, auditors and management consultants and draws on a network built up over many years, , which is involved in a project-specific and goal-oriented manner.
