Chang Liu is the head of the China desk and legal consultant at CLAYSTON. She commands more than 16 years of experience in German-Chinese legal consultancy. She counsels German enterprises in the context of investments in China, and Chinese companies concerning their market entry in Germany. Her focus is on corporate, labor, and copyright law. The scope of her investment advice stretches from questions as to the formation of branches and subsidiaries to complex corporate acquisitions. Her counsel is all-encompassing: legal aspects, business options, and the practical feasibility - especially against the backdrop of the different cultural background of the investor
Before joining CLAYSTON, Chang Liu practiced at a prestigious international business law firm. Between 2005 and 2016, she had been deputy head of the legal department of the German Chamber of Foreign Trade in Beijing.
