Koray Dagdeviren

Koray Dagdeviren is one of our lawyers at Clayston who works from our offices in Istanbul and Hamburg. As a qualified Turkish lawyer since 2013 and having an extensive experience from multiple jurisdictions, he supports private companies and individuals in domestic and cross-border legal matters including contract negotiations, government supports, corporate matters, and debt collection.

He served various Turkish exporter companies from multiple sectors in their expansion to foreign markets as well as foreign companies to invest in Turkey with a full range of service in a close collaboration with the local professionals in his network. Furthermore, he has a broad experience in public tenders in Turkey. Notably, Koray possesses substantial experience in arbitration and plays a pivotal role in assisting German companies and their suppliers in adhering to the stringent requirements of the German Supply Chain Act (Lieferkettengesetz LkSG).

This dual expertise underscores his commitment to providing holistic legal support, ensuring compliance and success for his clients in both Turkey and Germany.

Mehmet Çakır

Mehmet is one of our lawyers at Clayston Turkey. He provides detailed legal advice and consultancy services for private entities and state-owned enterprises during all judicial and managerial phases from establishing to liquidation process.

In addition to participating in lawsuits and carrying out other legal procedures on behalf of clients, he is competent and experienced to draw up all kind of contracts and regulations regarding administration of a company on all processes including the executive board, human resources, production and marketing.

He is also educated and qualified to act as an expert in labour disputes. With aim of a result-oriented approach considering the maximum benefit for clients rather than case-oriented attitudes while dealing with a legal problem, he makes use of technological facilities on a high level.

He is qualified as a lawyer in Turkey since 2011 and acts as a mediator since 2017.

Özgür Yaman

Özgür is serving our clients at Clayston Turkey as a lawyer. He is a well-versed lawyer who deals regularly with large commercial claims in the fields of Corporate, Shipping, Insurance and Labour Law in Turkey.

He provides comprehensive legal assistance to the top insurers, shipowners, investors, managers, institutions and individuals for many years. He has extensive experience in handling high-profile cases before/during/after the litigation process, representing national and international clients before courts or alternative dispute resolution processes and administrative authorities, conducting and finalizing all kinds of negotiations for a vast number of clients

Özgür is admitted to Bar Association as a lawyer since 2016 and he is fluent in English.

Afshin Ghassemi

Afshin has deep expertise in the fields of business transformations and business transactions as well supervision and execution of development and investments projects, with aspecial focus on foreign trade law and multilateral international treaties.

Mr. Ghassemihas in addition profound skills in the areas of business and strategy development, corporate culture, project and process management. He stands alongside his clients and is persistent in his search for robust yet pragmatic solutions to their problems. He is particularly effective when working on complex projects with multiple stakeholders involved.

Prior to joining Clayston, Mr. Ghassemi served for major renowned corporate and legal consulting firms in London and Hamburg. He studied law at the University of Hamburg with minors in business and social sciences. He regularly publishes articles on topics in the fields of publiclaw and investment regimes of the MENA countries.

Afshin Ghassemi speaks German, English, French and Persian.

Mamdouh Al Tajjar

Mamdouh is graduated from the faculty of law in Damascus university, he is specialized in international law.

Since 2015 he has been advising and supporting international companies, especially from the Arabic speaking countries and Africa, on entering to the German market, and helping them in the context of cooperation with German companies. In addition, he was consulting German companies in entering to the middle eastern and African markets.

Mr. Al Tajjar has lived in several countries in the middle east and south east Asia, therefore, he has the required intercultural competence to consult companies to expand their business internationally, based on the business experinces he made in these countries.

Mamdouh Al Tajjar speaks Arabic, English, German and Thai languages.
